On Wednesday 6th March we, the Enterprise Group, organised a whole school event for World Book Day where all the school children, nursery children and members of staff dressed up as their favourite book character and donated £1 for Book Aid International! We managed to raise £130!
We also asked Annette Filby from Usborne books to come in and join us celebrate. She visited every class, read stories and let us look at a selection of Usborne books. The Book Fair will be back on 21st March to coincide with the open day/evening so come along and have a look!
Parents, we are looking for a few of you to help out with the Book Fair on this day. Contact the school if you are available.
Each class also voted for their ‘Best Dressed Character’ and these winners got to choose their favourite Usborne book to take home. Well done to everyone for making the day a great success!
Enjoy the photos,
Miss McNally and the Enterprise Group 🙂

We had great fun having a Pyjama Day to raise money for Children In Need! Even better, we raised over £900! Thanks to Katie for her great ideas and also Isabella and Rosie for helping to organise the day.
Photos and videos from the day can be found on Miss McNally and P6/7’s blog: http://missmcnallystbernadettes.primaryblogger.co.uk/children-in-need/
